WHO YOU FEAR, MY LOVE
Who you fear, my love, is it them or me? Their whispers pierce and stabbing my heart "Prostitute," they hiss, with poison feeling But I know truth, in your loving light Your past, a shadow, casts a spell A previous love you had now lost and fell You assure me, it's over and done Yet secrecy shrouds our love, undone You hide me from friends, from prying eyes A silent plea, a loving surprise But why conceal our hearts' desire? Is it fear of judgment, or heart's fire? Their words are poison, spread like flame Tainting our love, with shameful claim But I know you, pure and true My love, my heart beats only for you Who you fear, my love, is it their scorn? Or losing me, and our love unborn? I crave openness, honesty's light but you still resist to step in light in darkness's walls now you cling just to mask our love hidden indeed this is punishment to me Our love's authenticity, I implore Let us shine, and leave fear's door Ajar, to welcome love's pure breeze And silence whispers, with gentle ease but you still resist to step in I had stood by you, in trials, whispers and fights this fear of belonging , will surely take back my heart for you.... written by Smartmandala@gmail.com
