who to turn to?
Is this a family, or a battlefield of strife? Each soul aligned, except for this one life. My grandma, mother, blades turned in my back, A silent betrayal, there's no turning back. Promises broken, like glass upon the floor, Shattered hopes and dreams, I can't take anymore. The one who understood, now rests in paradise above, Leaving me stranded, bereft of their love. I feign ignorance, a mask upon my face, While bitter tears fall, in this desolate place. This earth feels cruel, a prison I must bear, Alone and lost, consumed by deep despair. The weight of loneliness, a crushing, heavy stone, My heart aches deeply, completely overthrown. Is this my family? A question I must ask, When all I feel is pain, and a bitter, broken mask.
