WHO SHOOK THE JAR?
As I walked past a jar of forest And admired its beauty, Reminiscence fell on me In the jar were diverse species of beautiful trees Their arms wound round one another Providing shade even for the ants Making the beast soft From the deepest corner of the forest came a soothing song Harmonic I kept watching and admiring, Until an unidentified hand stretched forth, Held the jar with vigour, And shook with all the might in him Like a furious earthquake, A hoo-ha developed Knocking the species against one another Dismantling the very force that once married them The jar broke, exposing them not to amigos But to their adversaries The once admired abode became home for belligerents “Serene was our abode So strong, so tight, unbreakable Trusted one another, metallic was the bond Before the advent of the shaker, Before the mess we see today, The jar was dead calm” The forest sage cried out. And so did the buffers Who shook the jar? A mystery. @Ebetu
