Who am i?
I Wear my masks for every gaze, a light in your darkest days. Thoughts in my head, heavy as stone. My ribs hug my heart, as it aches to be known, each scream silenced, tattooing deceitful smiles. You say you want me— but can’t you see? Each mask reflects what you need from me. So tell me, which face do you truly love, my dear? The one that smiles, or the that bleeds raw tears? Forgive me if I mess things up; For each mask is a wall where versions lurk and shadows crawl. My monsters long to be seen and free, but I’ve forgotten the truth of me. So when you say you love me, and I hesitate to reply, Remember, i'm caught between two masks: the girl who shuts you out, afraid of the hurt. or the one who lets you in, Risking it all -Gambling for love.
