White picket fence
I want a white picket fence. I want a husband who is pleasant and offers protection. I want a family that needs no correction. I want perfection. But do I? Because perfection has no room for flaws or mistakes. But my thoughts sink there claws, And suddenly I can't take the crippling weight. I feel there is no escape, I'm trapped in my mind. Will he mind? Because that my is my concern. I yearn for that guy I see with my white picket fence. But since I am broken down, I feel he'll let me drown. I feel he won't be strong enough, to help me carry these bags I can't seem to leave behind. I mean he's not inclined... But does that mean I'll be fine? No, becuase I need this dream of mine. But I might be to broken to achieve, And what happens when he sees, I can't be pleased? Because the truth is I can't be happy. Maybe one day I'll learn. But for now I'll still yearn, For my white picket fence.
