White Lines
Salty droplets, lines of white powder carded with care; I love breathing, lucky it's snowing. How has this dependency grown? How many disappeared in the air? A lot of forgotten memories, it's not worth knowing. Long sleeves, long pants; cover up the red turned white lines. Has it been months, years? And how many tears and rants? Cover up what you made, feelings like thorns on vines. Eyes of glass, sparkling street candles blur; not sure where I'm going. Sip your coke zero, do you still wanna be who you were? Reapply your lipstick, kiss the cold, cracked window. Hair tousled by the wind that's blowing.
