WHISPERS WITHIN
One day will I Look back on the remnants I left behind, Wondering was it really me, than I'm now? The sun, a light of hope to see, And the chirp of birds cheering for me, Cawing the crow is, pushing me back, Yet listening to it, I couldn't care less. Fly high the kite I see, In the sky roaming so carefree, Even knowing the trouble ahead, Of how fleeting the freedom could be! Expecting less to be great, the longer I've to wait, No matter what it takes, I keep walking straight. On that day will I realize, Was it worth it, Every blood and sweat that dripped, Every tiny drop of tear, I swallowed it.
