Whispers of Unspoken Love"
Sovan sits beneath the fading sky, With love in heart, but words run dry. He sees her smile, her laughter bright, Yet keeps his feelings out of sight. Her voice, a melody in the air, A song he’d treasure, soft and rare. Each glance she gives, a light to his day, But fear keeps him a breath away. For in his chest, a secret lies, A love that blooms but never flies. He guards it close, with tender care, Afraid to lose what they both share. She speaks of dreams, she speaks of stars, He listens close, her voice, like bars That hold him still, afraid to break The fragile bond their hearts might make. What if he speaks, and all is lost? What if their friendship pays the cost? For friendship's safe, a gentle shore, But love could leave him wanting more. So Sovan stays, a step behind, With love unspoken, words confined. Each passing moment, a silent plea, To be the one her heart might see. He dreams of days where they might dance, Where love is more than just a chance. But every time, his courage fades, Lost in the shadows, love evades. Her eyes meet his, and time stands still, He wonders if she ever will See the love he hides so deep, In every glance, in every leap. poem by sovan mishra
