Whispers of the heart
In the depths of my soul, a plea does reside, strive to impart, The depth of my love, straight fromphony's melody, our souls, my words falter, like feathers in flight, For I shall try of love, I see stars, twinkling bright and bold, As if the heavens themselves have been told. Her touch, like silk, upon my trembling skin, Ignites a fire within, erasing all sin. With each stolen glance, my heart skips a beat, For her presence alone makes life complete. Oh, how I long to be the shelter in her storm, To hold her close, and keep her heart warm. I'll write her letters, like whispers in the night, With words that convey my love's endless fight. For in this world of chaos and despair, I'll be her refuge, her solace, her air. So let this poem be a testament of my devotion, A declaration of love, without any notion. May it touch her soul, like a gentle breeze, And bring her knees. For, my love that's eternally intertwined. (michael)
