Whispers of Resilience
The hearthstone's broken, and those darkened clouds Fill, as the sky wine and dines its new found love; Besides, I know no one as dark and lovely . . . Also, as magical as talismans that charm, uplift, and soothe. It was like thyme, And sometimes, it was like hot chamomile, And so my heart is healing, nursing nasty Wounds. I refuse to hate life, this much I Confusingly feel, and this storm seems so Hellbent, enraged on bloodlust. It'll reach us soon, And blow the trees awry, looking for lost things, Yet in the tempest's eye, a whisper waits Which promises peace and glimmers with hope, As nature's fury wanes, the landscape waxes.
