Whispers of Fading Feelings
In the quiet of my heart, a whisper soft and true, "I like you," it says, but I know what I must do. For though my feelings bloom like flowers in the spring, I must let them fade, like the setting sun's gentle wing. It's not easy to say goodbye to what could have been, But sometimes letting go is the bravest act within. So I'll cherish the moments we shared, the laughter and the smiles, And bid farewell to what could have been, across the miles. I'll hold onto the memories, like stars in the night, And let this fleeting feeling fade, like morning's first light. For in letting go, I find strength and grace, And in the quiet of my heart, I'll find a peaceful place.
