whispers of death's breath
In the stillness of the night, a chilling wind does blow, Carrying with it whispers of death's inevitable flow. Through the darkness and the shadows, its presence lingers near, A reminder of our mortality, a reality we all must fear. But in its solemn embrace, there is a certain grace, A gentle reminder to cherish each moment and embrace. For in the end, we are but fragile souls on borrowed time, Meandering through life's journey, with every bell's chime. So let us not be afraid of death's cold breath, But rather live with purpose and meaning until our final breath. For in the end, it is not the fear of death we should heed, But the legacy we leave behind, through word and deed. So let us face death's whisper with courage and grace, And live each day fully, with a smile on our face. MTF
