Voices slither, crawl inside, Serpents hissing where thoughts should hide. A thousand tongues, a hundred lies, In the hollow of my mind, something dies.Faces twist in phantom light, Mocking smiles in endless night. Their eyes are black, their teeth are sharp, Feasting on my sanity, tearing it apart.Walls breathe, shadows creep, In every corner, horrors leap. A rancid stench of rot and fear, As demons whisper in my ear.They tell me things I cannot see, That the world is not what it seems to be. They scream and laugh, they rage and cry, Until I can't remember who am I.My skin crawls with unseen bugs, My heart beats like a thousand drums. In this prison of fractured thought, I’m tangled in a web they’ve wrought.I claw and tear, but can’t escape, My mind’s a maze of twisted shapes. A carnival of horrors, grotesque and vile, Where sanity is led to trial.The mirror cracks, my face distorts, A stranger stares with mad retorts. I scream in silence, lost in the din, Fighting wars I cannot win.They call it illness, this fractured state, But it’s a doorway to a darker fate.
