Whispers in the Dark.
In the stillness of the midnight air, Where shadows weave their silent snare, A voice that none should ever hear, Calls softly from the realm of fear. It dances through the forest deep, Where lost souls wander, never sleep, With eyes like coals and hearts of ice, They paid the dark its heavy price. Beneath the moon’s forsaken glow, A secret that no man should know— The echo of forgotten cries, A promise made, a thousand lies. The wind that howls, the trees that moan, Remind the earth it's not alone, For in the soil, beneath the grave, Awaits the heart of one who gave— Their soul to shadows, pitch, and dust, In search of dreams now turned to rust. And there they wait, beneath the stone, Forever cold, forever alone. ~Frozenova.
