Whisper of the mirror
I stood before the mirror's face, A silent world , a fragile space. It stared at me with eyes so cold, Yet held the truths I've never told. It saw the tears I tried to hide, The storms I carried deep inside. A painful smile , a trembling soul- A shattered self not feeling whole. It whispered back the things I fear, Reflected doubts too loud to hear. But still, it showed me strength I missed, In every scar and trembling fist. It never lied, yet never judged, Through every fall, it never budged. It watched me grow, then break apart, Yet still believed I held a heart. Now when I look, I see me true, Not just the cracks, but beauty too The mirror weeps with me , then shines - For in its glass, my hope aligns.
