When you're faced with times of trouble, While ego is bruised when you lose pride, Your self respect will cost double! So stand toe to toe and look ego in the eye, It will save you more than face- For pride is easily wounded, But in time it will heal- But when you sell out your self respect, That's a LOSS your SOUL will FEEL.
