Where You Should Be
Oh What I wouldn't give to turn back the hands of time, And find myself all wrapped up in you- My heart, my soul, my mind... To feel your lips against my skin, and your heartbeat pounding in your chest, The only place that felt like home- The place that I loved best. The way you smiled and arched your brows, and stared into my eyes- Made my heart race and my legs weak you had me hypnotized. There's nothing I wouldn't have done or gave, to try to save you. I tried at least a million times, even, against my better judgement and forgave you. In the end, it possessed you It took you away from me. Now, I sit looking around at my life and there's a dark hole, where you should be.
