Where Sprigs of Wild Hope Grow
Heavy laden with regret shackled and tortured with intense misery I can't help but to think, this isn't the way things should be I carried benevolence in my heart good judgement in my mind I covered my eyes from faults and flaws and made myself go blind I spared those whom had wronged me and I tried to make things right and used up every drop of energy in hopes to preserve my plight yet follies came and woes ravenged and broke my spirit down life a thief in the night, my smile was stolen replaced with a generic, replica grown and though my heart sailed through troubled waters and my mission was in vain This hopeless journey to rescue love and was nothing short of immense pain- I can't help but to still believe that you were still worth my heart's love for saving Maybe I am just a fool, a lunatic that's mad and raving-- But this tiny sprig of hope like the dove s olive branch in tow It is proof that somewhere, out there wildly, hope does grow and inside my empty heart and reaching the darkest regions of my soul, I still have faith and hope remains that you're someone I can't let go I believe someday you'll see and know
