where life still lingers
Life is not always loud. Sometimes, it hums soft as dusk, just before the storm. It folds joy into sorrow like twilight into night, and teaches us that endings aren't always cruel some are just quiet. We drink from cups both sweet and bitter, never quite sure which taste will come next. And maybe that’s the point that contrast carves the meaning. There are days that feel endless, and others gone in a blink. Some people leave like fire sudden and wild. Others fade like songs you didn’t know were still playing. We lose things we never thought we’d hold, and find pieces of ourselves in the shadows we feared. Still, the sky opens, again and again. Even on the heaviest days, the light returns not always bright, but enough. Enough to see the path. Enough to keep going. Enough to know that even in the ache, we are alive.
