"Where I Am Valued"
They say, “Go where you are valued,” But in this world, I search in vain— Among the noise, the hollow praise, The fleeting joy, the lasting pain. I chase approval, strive for grace, Yet find no place where I belong. My heart, worn thin from endless race, No refuge in the worldly throng. So helplessly, I lift my eyes, Beyond the shadows, past the skies— To One who knew me from the start, Who holds the pieces of my heart. I run to God with trembling soul, The only One who makes me whole. For in His love, I’m truly known— And in His presence, I am home.
