Where Do I Belong
In a sea of faces, I stand alone, A whisper in the crowd, a silent tone. Am I different, left behind, A solitary soul, hard to find? Eyes that glance, but never see, A heart that yearns, silently. Am I different, out of place, In this world, a forgotten face? Tears that fall, strings of heart that ache Am I different, for my own sake? Lonely nights and endless days, Wandering through life's winding maze. Voices murmur, shadows play, Am I different, in every way? A silent cry, a muted plea, Seeking where I belong, where I can be. In the laughter, I hear my pain, Am I different, in the rain? Drops that fall, like my tears, Washing away my deepest fears. Yet in the sorrow, a truth unfolds, Am I different, as my story molds? In my heart, a quiet flame, I am of my own, and that's no shame. Through the darkness, I find my light, Am I different, in the night? A star that shines, uniquely bright, Guiding me through the endless fight. In the end, I stand tall, Am I different, after all? In my soul, a strength I find, I am of my own, one of a kind.
