where could I find you ?
I went into the mountains today, In search of you. Hoping that somehow I would find something, Which would bring you back to me. The cliff whispered 'jump off', But would you be there ? The waters luring me 'flow away' But would you be there ? The breeze carried me to a place — unknown, Would you be there,my love ? The trees tried to strangle me, Roots entangling my feet and branches choking my throat, It felt as if it was not the first time, Somehow it brought me back to you, yet not how I wanted it to. It brought me to how you, Suffocated me with your ignorance. The trees unlike you had mercy on my misery, They let me go, I befriended them, Spent the night there in their tranquil embrace, And in the process of discovering you, Somehow, I found my own self.
