where are you?
As two flames flicker under the starry sky, Do the heavens hear a soul's unspoken sigh? Naked and bare, floating in a puddle of tears, A moment yearned, across thousands of years. Will it be beneath the sun, as pen glides with grace? Or in the storm’s fierce roar, bathing in its embrace? Perhaps at grand soirées, in satin’s soft sheen, Or by serene lakes, desiring to be unseen. Not merely in dreams or fleeting thoughts, But skin-to-skin, our aged wines would toast. Centuries may pass before both destinies align, Yet a life spent waiting is not a loss, but divine.
