When You Became A poem by Cat Markcella Rain Nehrkorn March 19, 2024 When you became A bit in time we traversed A trail to find with the smell from the leaves we were watching you and hoping you would waiting to find your newest move us and you there was a lot of stock placed there given there do your due we saw you did you feel our eyes on you could you know what we looked at on the day in the hour all seeing When you became You told us the story showing us your pathway our eyes upon you and our ears attuned allowing the path to show itself opening up here to now what would be next but you stay ahead and we will follow right behind your fireball form us watching walking waiting. What would be next? We had an idea and you turn around here we are. We have not left. We are too involved holding you in our sight When you became the sound of your voice muffled in the wind night into the day watch us now we are not going away Our eyes are on you along the way alongside the path others are walking beside to form this idea to hold us all close their eyes upon the multitude walking alongside the pathway.
