when will it change?
will it be the same for all of you when I'm a decoration? when I'm hanging from the fan or painting the rocks? will you call me these names when you find me laying on your floor? will you have the nerve to call me a slut when the only thing touching my body is worms? will you keep saying my name In hushed tones or will you yell it out with your fake sorrow? will you continue to laugh at the words on your screen or will you cry when you see mine? will you continue to shove me into the ground with your cruel words when you see the tall stone inscribed with my name? will you miss my laugh or my touch when you know you'll never embrace me again? will you laugh at my body when it's cold and stiff? when will it change? will it change when I'm no longer an option as your doormat? will it change when you no longer have someone to unload your lack of self worth onto? will it change when I'm no longer someone to carry your burdens with my own?
