"When the Wind Whispers You"p²
Still I confess—I bear the blame, This silence now, a roaring flame. I fight the weight, it numbs my side, But if I heard your voice, I’d cry. A bitter end when love must fade, When soulmates break what fate once made. And though I know we’re not divine, We learn, we feel, we cross the line. Mistakes made trend, they come with ease, We break for fun, we break for peace. But what do I know? Just empty talk My drink half gone, my thoughts still walk To where you are, so far away, But still I feel you every day. Where are the ones who used to cheer, When we were strong, when we were near? Now guilt eats through me from inside, Knowing you're no longer mine. Wounds will heal, the scars remain, Your name still echoes in my brain. My heart's aflame, a cursed flame, Alive, yet dead i roam in shame. A tale too long with angels, sins, This weight too much it pulls within. I can't face truth, I can't move on, So I write it down before it's gone. A frozen heart in a world so cold, Still thirsts for you like days of old. And when I see your silhouette, It gifts a smile I can’t forget.
