When the Rain Arrives
The sky unties its silver thread, And whispers fall where dreams are led. Each tiny drop, a gentle song, Reminding hearts where they belong. The thirsty earth begins to smile, Forgotten flowers bloom awhile. The winds grow soft, the trees rejoice, As nature finds its quiet voice. The streets reflect the cloudy light, Turning ordinary into bright. Footsteps dance through puddles deep, While hidden memories gently seep. Rain does not ask who laughs or cries; It kisses every open sky. It washes sorrow, cools the pain, And teaches hope through every rain. So let it fall without regret, For storms are blessings we forget. Beyond the clouds, the sun will reign— But first, the world must welcome rain. -Shamna
