When Suddenly Comes
I almost gave up. Honestly, God, You know I almost did. The nights got longer, the silence got louder, and my heart got heavier. I prayed until my voice cracked. I waited until hope felt like a memory. I fought the doubts, the fears, the endless “what-ifs” that kept me awake at night. And still, nothing. Still, quiet. Still, broken pieces scattered at my feet. I whispered: "God, have You forgotten me?" But You were listening. You were always listening. While I cried, You were orchestrating. While I worried, You were weaving. While I questioned, You were preparing The suddenly. And when I least expected it When I had no strength left When I thought it was over You moved. Abruptly. Wildly. Beautifully. Completely. You kicked down doors I didn’t even know existed. You spoke life into the things I called dead. You opened rivers in deserts. You made the impossible, possible. Suddenly. Not because I had it all together. Not because I said all the right words. But because You are faithful. So now, even when it hurts, even when the waiting feels endless, I will trust You. I will wait. I will believe. Because God is still writing my story and the best parts, the breathtaking, beautiful parts, I haven't seen yet.
