When Noise Was Company
Back in those days, though screams and fights Filled our nights and shadowed our sights, At least there were moments, brief yet bright, When laughter flickered, pure and light. But now, everything is torn apart, Scattered pieces, distant hearts. Silence lingers where echoes played— Once there were voices, now only shade. Back then, at least the noise remained, Now only emptiness, unchained. Alone with thoughts that twist and turn, Dreaming of things I'll never earn.
