Where tender words once brought joy's delight, Let them not become arrows, piercing the night. With every step, we choose our path, To walk with compassion, not in wrath. To lean on love, steadfastly firm, In shadows darkest, its light affirm. Embrace their soul when storms arise, Drying their tears, extinguishing cries. When love becomes the cause of sorrow's reign, It tarnishes the bond, inflicting stain. For love exists to heal and restore, Bathing hearts in solace, forevermore.
