When Loneliness Hits Hard

A winter of snow, Hits my weary soul, No vibrant warmth, There's Nowhere to go, Silence of hearts, Shattering stars, Deep within loss, In the lingering dark, Voices are frozen, As is their breath, Whispers of heartache, Telling tales of death, Wake in the frost, Within a violent freeze, A mind numbing pain, That will bring you to your knees, Tears stream down my face, As my love tears apart, No rest for the wicked, When loneliness hits hard
