When it wasn't right...
There was I, that Sunday night. Calling you mine, when it wasn't right. I had you high, so much (that) you sparked too bright. We couldn't fly, because our love tide us tight. Wanted to cry, however, my suffering would have been eyesight. To you I can't lie, even if we had a gunfight. Would even die, if it made you feel alright. But, there's the problem, in you my happiness can't depend. You aren't the one to blame, had my liberty to defend. Saying this is the hardest, 'cause you're an obsession I can't pretend. I got to be honest, you are the delusion I can't recommend. Have to be solemn, my feelings towards you should come to an undelightful end. Had to say goodbye, although inches apart were our heights. I looked up to the sky, thought I saw a light. There was only a sparrow passing by, just like a sign (I should let you fly). We were on July, and you had to take your flight. Me, on the sight. You, waiting for the sunlight. There was I, that last night. Calling you mine, when it wasn't right (when you were already far).
