When It Gets Cold
When it gets cold and I start to shake, I don’t blame others for my heartache. The wind can blow, the skies can cry, But I just breathe and let time fly. Not every tear needs someone’s name, Not every hurt comes with a blame. Some days are dark, and that’s okay— I’ll find my light along the way. I hold myself when things go wrong, And in the silence, I grow strong. No pointing fingers, no shame to see— Just the cold, and quiet, and me. -JN
