When It Came I Couldn't See
Snowflakes fell and the land was white and cold, I hear the ebullient kids running with the joyful and bold, A snowman is the creation of a friendly dedication, With their laugh I sense their veneration, There were days when I wished for this day, Under the blest sun for this day I yearned for every say, Many dreamed to discover many realms of Earth, Smiling and shining stars were born in them as more of it gave birth, But today though the laugh I hear I see only eternal dusk, The vision of my eyesight is impaled by a fateful tusk, A tusk of harm and tar, More the blind I was painfully indeed the more I was thrown afar, All this misery due to a potholed road, Corrupt men and their envious notes of fraud, A promise incomplete after many years to suffer, Still hindered and incomplete as the incurable endure, Whom to tell even after the sell of my belt, Still the pain of being blind isn't going to melt, Though I can't see my smile I am still satisfied for it is the holiday, Though my life is upside down within a midday.
