When I'm gone
When I'm gone, may the things I adore, Remind you of me, and be forever in store. Think of me under moonlit skies, With cats by your side, and books that surprise. May art and poetry, philosophy and verse, Literature's wisdom, and 90's movies traverse, The music we loved, the flowers that bloom, Birds singing sweet melodies, nature's perfume. The sky's vast canvas, the universe's grand design, May these beautiful things be your heart's shrine. Even if I'm not here, my smile will shine, In every lovely thing, my love will be divine. If tears fall, and you need a shoulder to cry, May these beautiful things be your sanctuary high. I'll let you live, and breathe, and be, And when the universe seems cold, I'll be the warmth you'll see. Live, and be alive, with every breath you take, May my love for you, in these things, forever make.
