When I Say That I Love You

When I say that I love you, I mean that the universe spins around you.  I mean that you are my center. My core. My sun.  Everything about you is what I hold dear to me. I can't sit here and promise you forever, because what if tomorrow never arrives?  But I can promise you this. That I would never hinder our growth out of my own selfishness.  That I will strive to only ever be grateful for what you have to offer and never bitter over what you can't provide.  That the sun may not always shine out of me, but that there will always be moonlight strewn across my occassionally dark mind That perfection isn't possible, but i'll attempt to perfect my love for you.  I'll always be a phone call away, even if i'm miles away in my head. I'll always try to come back down for you.
