When I die let it be known
When I die, remember this truth: It’s the cruelty, the taunts, the lies, The way they chipped away at my youth, With every glance, every word that denies. They left scars deeper than skin, A silent weight that I couldn’t escape, A quiet death, no one could see within, Just a heart too broken to reshape. They’ll never know, they’ll never care, But their shadows still follow me, A final breath, a last despair, Their fault is my quiet, endless plea. So when I die let it be known that I was once okay, I was once a sweet girl who lived with her mom, didn't have a dad. A girl that was SA for four years of her life. Abused for two of them and bullied for three. I was just a child and thought that life would be better for all if she was gone. I was a kind person. and they took that from me.
