When feelings get in the way I get lost in get thoughts Mixed up emotions Trying to understand Nothing makes sense Everything is confusing Everybody thinks they know but Nobody knows The person I see When I look in the mirror The darkness I see Buried deep in my heart Is it looking back at me or Am I going blind Numb to everything Apart of nothing Something is wrong and Everything is right Trying understand it Only to get mixed up With empty thoughts Wearing on my mind Got me thinking Feeling the colors Listening to the shapes Hearing the emotions Falling out into words Dreaming about life but Living in death With the whole body Shaking my soul Life gets crazy When feelings get in the way I get lost in thoughts Mixed up emotions Trying to understand Getting to know who I am
