When Fear Became Fact
Before you, fear was a stranger, I walked with pride, a self-made ranger. What was money? I had knowledge to spare, And friendships? Few, but enough to bear. Then you came, a gentle storm, Shaking the foundations of my calm form. For the first time, a fear took root, Not of failure, but of losing you. Through life's chaos, I held on tight, Weathered the storms, fought the night. But despite my efforts, you slipped away, And my deepest fear found its way. Now you're gone, and the fear is real, A hollow ache I can't conceal. But I’ll carry this truth, bittersweet and true, Once, I loved, and my fear was you.
