Wheel of the Year
I believe in little magic and a few universal truths A favorite sweater The unabashed joy in my daughter's laughter Dancing flames Selecting the "right" mug for each morning Splitting a bottle of Malbec with a friend The graceful swoop of bats at twilight Fireflies Connection with the earth & sky is yours Be the conduit Everything you want is on the other side of fear EVERYONE has trauma. Be mindful and generous Time is more precious than all else BE HERE Chocolate heals (yes, a universal truth) I don't subscribe to any religion only bits & pieces of what feels right Respect Generosity Mindfulness Equanimity Celebrating at each & every opportunity Because who doesn't want to celebrate? To be welcomed? To be Welcoming? To dance? Happiness is a byproduct I'm a student of my life Midlife crisis is an indulgence Many can't afford Perfectionism is my only failure I'm gentle with others but not myself Mabon was two days ago I missed the turning of the wheel rather than simply turn it now I let it sit a reminder of my imperfection The sum of life is the creation Moments Memories Days The Wheel of the Year I've got a lot to learn Fortunately, I know the moon & stars can provide guidance if I gaze long enough
