What's Mine to Give pt. 1
Can I hold you in this moment, in this space between breaths? Can I feed you my silences, my words, the ones I kept? Let me pour out what’s been bottled, give you pieces of my time. Do you need another blanket, or just warmth that isn't mine? I want to lay it all before you, like an offering at an altar. I want you to have it, take it, every tear and every falter. Can I meet you where you are, in the shadows or the light? Can I treat you to the tenderness I've tucked away from sight? Yes, I swear, I want to pay you in the only way I know— With the touch that I've been saving, with the love I never show. I'm just glad that I could be here, just grateful that you stayed, Like the moon that sits so quietly while the sun just slips away.
