What’s Left After She’s Gon
I don’t know what to feel anymore. There’s a tiny part of me that feels lighter— like I can finally stop pretending, stop trying to be someone she might choose. But that feeling never lasts long. Because the truth hits harder: she left, and it broke something in me I didn’t know could break. She walked away like it was nothing, while I’m still here holding memories that burn every time they come back. I’m trying to accept it, trying to breathe without her, but the ache won’t let go. It sits in my chest like a quiet storm, reminding me of everything we were and everything we’ll never be again. I’m stuck between relief and heartbreak, between freedom and loss— feeling like I’m rebuilding myself from pieces she didn’t bother to keep. And even now, even after everything, a part of me still feels her in the places that hurt the most.
