What was she wearing?
"What was she wearing?" Oh, she wore an agonized face persisting for help Shivering hands, sweaty palms, an unveiled hijab and a naked body. She wore a face of disgust, When all she sought was love. Her body had cut bruises, scars and Outpouring blood from her tied hands Her skin can't forget the traces Of the fingers of that culprit across her legs Or the excruciating touch of the one she loved. She was rotten after that, she couldn't utter a word Her nails weren't covered with her favourite nailpaint anymore Greasy and oily hair, filthy skin unwashed body She couldn't look at the mirror nor embrace the body, she once loved her curves with all devotion. Vibrant yellow posters in her room are now Nothing but just a plain white room. Like something's missing just like her life She had before she met him She was numb with the curtains closed, blankets uncovered Darkness comforted her yet still scared her Like it'll gnaw your throat and kill you The same devil tortured her with nightmares she was suffocated to So she'd rather stay awake than Dreaming her hidden traumas She wasn't the same anymore The devil roamed freely even if she Tried to prove she wasn't wrong Is that the law that guards us all?
