What Was Broken
What Was Broken There is no way to break what is already broken, a shattered mirror on the floor, reflecting fragments of a past that will never be put back together. Pain is a weight that I carry in secret, a mourning that consumes my silence and longing is torture. Time is a thief that steals memories leaving only shadows and fears. There is no way to break what is already broken, because what was broken were my dreams and my hope, and what remains is a love that was never reciprocated.
