What a confusing feeling My heart feeling like a caged animal Making me realize why our ribs incase it Should I start concealing The heart Maybe having one is the worst part Living in its grasp Without its beat we are lifeless Loveless. So what is it the heart wants After all it is just an organ But I'm on the bathroom floor again I was a fool didn't listen and now it's in shatters A cruel game that can be rewarding Love A feeling deeper than the roots of an old oak Something that has never been questioned Something that doesn't require resorting
