What Night Says To Day
An I oustide a room looking in Looks away, another look, took again Inside, the glass, walls A side, a past, halls Eyes seeing, seeing eyes wiped, see clearer Mirroring mirrors, mirrored eye, mirror Light bouncing, playing ground, impacted Reused, reinforced reiterations, refracted Dancing around the room's illusory image In pastel oils, an elephant on a pilgrimage Cracks the supported weight of the bridge Termites with their ticks, dyslexic et-fidge Nailed down, the water waits, in a fall Sounds of echoes the only ones able to recall The vivid visual scenes seen, allegorical Sifting lies in truth, chaos in order, order, tall Is what's in the seen, apart, from the scene at all? This appearing, wheel's steering, into a squall Puzzled, puzzle pieces, falling away at a pace Motion, motioned, so slow, almost about effaced Every piece's path, tracks, in love leaves tree's trace Now every precious piece propelled into place Itself, the completed puzzle scene, it's oblivious Any occupying consequence, it, innocuous A day turns to night who says to day "The eye outside a room, looks away"
