What My Eyes have Seen
My eyes are an ocean of emotions Happy, sad, angry And meany more They hold back tears They hide the violence I've witnessed All the hate I've seen All the crimes that have been done To people or to me The eyes are a key to the soul Yet mine are the key to my secrets Stare long enough and you'll see them The countless arguments they've watched The pain they felt The tears they hold back The fear they had The anger they hold The sorrows of the world. It all comes down to What my eyes have seen.
