what is romance

is it a hug or a kiss. By chance is it having sex with the one you "love". to me romance is when you're yapping, and you look over to see him staring at you. smile at your words. to me romance is walking in the highschool halls and your backpack is really heavy so he takes it off you back and refuses to let you carry it. so I ask you what is romance? is it a hug or a kiss? or is it something more?
