What is love? Love is a feeling But let me put your mind at ease Love can help you when you're healing Yes, it's that wonderful of a feeling Love is strong, beautiful and bold Love has stories that never go untold Love is wonderful, It never grows old But to some love is pain Its like getting stabbed again and again Like the dread that a king feels when he's lost reign Like salt on an open wound Like the feeling you get when you ruined someone's happy mood It is spiteful and cruel It makes you dull like a forgotten jewel Yet for some it's still like rainy days or warm summer sun Like spending time with friends and having fun It feels as if your heart is a flutter Or makes you feel down in the gutter Love is a wonder Love is a drug If you're hooked, might as well call yourself a love bug Love is beautiful Love is bold Love is hurtful Love is brave Love is old Love is passion Love is weak Love is always working Every day of the week Love can make us do so much Just to feel that little rush Love does so much to us Even though Love is only a feeling
