what is love
these days I find myself asking that a lot because the truth about it's not what I thought it's not picnics on a lakeside it's giving someone a knife and trusting them not to stab you but I got the blade put all the way through being the victim in your own story but the villain in hers victim and villain only means the pov it's a weighing regret a month later love is a heart with a whole lot to give that won't open it's doors because of something that happened once one time the wrong person gets through and you give them your all and fight but the results the same heartbreak, alone and an empty passenger seat so when they ask If I believe in love I tell them yes but not for me that maybe I'm the one meant to be forgot about or maybe my best ones coming up still truth is I wouldn't know it if it was I can't tell the difference between good and bad all I know is the feeling when that knife stabs through your heart and it's her, the one that you opened the doors for the love of your life, man what a lie we'll call it broken promises, but it's more just hollow lies forever supposed to mean until we die but I guess we did we're dead now me and her I'm starting a new life with new people showing her the bird
